Qualifies for the Alter Cup
Whirly van Dyke and Warwick Kerr sailing the Team Halsey Lidgard 20 foot catamaran at the Lipton Cup. By winning this event the team qualifies for the Alter Cup. This is US Sailings multihull championship. It was exciting sailing with up gusts up to 20 knots on Saturday. The event was hosted by the Squantum Yacht Club in Quincy MA. It served as a qualifier for the A and B areas (New England and New York State) for the Alter cup.
Next
weekend van Dyke and Kerr will be competeing in Buzzards Bay as part of
the overall season title.
